According to a representative from Camel Friends Network, one of the organizers, another major highlight of the 2nd Ice & Snow Hiking Festival was the permanent installation of "Camel Friends' Signature Route" signposts in the Laojun Valley Natural Ecological Scenic Area, serving as guides for outdoor enthusiasts. But what exactly is the "Camel Friends' Signature Route"? The representative explained that it is a non-mainstream yet classic hiking trail jointly developed by the Walking Camel Outdoor Public Welfare Forum (Camel Friends Network: http://www.iluotuo.com) and Chengdu Red Bull Vitamin Drink Sales Company. The route must meet strict criteria in terms of difficulty, intensity, uniqueness, and scenery, and can only be designated as a "Camel Friends' Signature Route" after on-site evaluation by professionals. Additionally, the term also implies an exceptionally impressive hiking trail. So, what made this ice and snow hiking festival so "awesome"? Organizers revealed that the 2nd Sichuan Ice & Snow Hiking Festival aimed to promote a more eco-friendly, low-carbon, and healthy way for the public to explore the Laojun Valley Natural Ecological Scenic Area in Mengtun River Valley through the "Camel Friends' Signature Route" concept. Meanwhile, the Laojun Valley "Camel Friends' Signature Route" series of activities will inject new vitality into outdoor sports in the valley and establish a classic highland "Camel Friends' Signature Route" brand. The Ice & Snow Hiking Festival will also become a unique tourism highlight for Mengtun River Valley, attracting numerous ice and snow hiking enthusiasts from Sichuan and even across the country to experience the magical and distinctive charm of winter in Laojun Valley.

By 1:30 PM, the first participant to complete the course returned to the starting point, followed by the rest of the contestants. Organizers reported that the oldest participant in the Ice & Snow Hiking Festival was 60.5 years old, and the youngest was just 5, all of whom successfully finished the hike.

The successful hosting of the 2nd Sichuan Ice & Snow Hiking Festival demonstrates that winter sports are no longer exclusive to northern cities and highlights how mass fitness activities are evolving toward greater diversity and inclusivity. We sincerely congratulate the organizers on the success of the 2nd Sichuan Ice & Snow Hiking Festival and all participants on their achievements. We also look forward to the arrival of the next edition of the festival.
