Luban Lake – Yuntai Temple – Qijiang Ancient Tomb Area is a cultural tourism attraction.

This is a provincial-level scenic area located in Anju Town, Santai County, consisting of three parts: Luban Lake, the Qijiang Han Tomb Cluster, and Yuntai Temple. Luban Lake features picturesque landscapes with 23 islands scattered across it. The Qijiang Han Tomb Cluster comprises over ten thousand ancient Han tombs forming an extremely magnificent ensemble, and is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit. Yuntai Temple is the second most important Taoist sacred site in Sichuan. It currently houses architectural complexes and relics such as the Ming Dynasty Xuantian Palace, Scripture Depository, Dragon and Tiger Halls, bronze bells, bronze cauldrons, stone carvings, ivory tablets, and the Imperial Sword, making it both a Sichuan Provincial Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a provincial scenic area.

Yuntai Temple is the second-largest Taoist temple in Sichuan, second only to Qingcheng Mountain. It is located about a hundred li south of Santai County in Anju. According to...<<云台观碑记>>: Yuntai Temple was founded by Zhao Xia’an. For hundreds of years, Yuntai Temple has been a scenic highlight and a center for Taoist activities. Many cultural relics are still well preserved, including imperial edicts, ivory tablets from eunuchs, bronze bells and incense burners gifted by various scholars, as well as over 30 types and more than 1,000 volumes of bestowed scriptures.

Yuntai Temple holds four timeless mysteries. Mystery one: Zhuge Liang once ingeniously set up the “Seven-Star Lamp” here; Mystery two: the strange echoing sound at the gate of Xuantian Palace; Mystery three: the main hall remains dust-free for centuries; Mystery four: three mysterious diamond-shaped patterns are found at the center of the rooftop of Xuantian Palace. When sunlight hits them, their reflections can be seen soaring up to three zhang high into the sky.

Anju Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Santai County. Established as Anju Township in 1940, converted to a commune in 1958, reinstated as a township in 1983, and upgraded to a town in 1992. Located in the southwestern part of the county, it is 30 kilometers from the county seat. Covering an area of 43.7 square kilometers with a population of 24,000, it has road access. The town administers 15 village committees: Tianjingba, Liyuan, Dafuo, Mingyue, Dongyu, Miaojing, Chengjia, Yuntai, Huaiyin, Baoquan, Jinzhong, Gangshan, Huaihua, Shuhe, and Xingyue, as well as the Anjuchang residential committee.
