Santai County Museum

The Santai County Museum serves as a base for science education.

The Santai County Museum (formerly the Santai Han Pottery Museum) currently houses a collection of over 10,000 cultural relics, including 19 first-grade relics (sets), 41 second-grade relics (sets), and 756 third-grade relics (sets). The collection includes goldware, bronzeware, stoneware, lacquered woodware, ivory, pottery, and more, among which Han Dynasty pottery, Han Dynasty bronzeware, and ceramics from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, as well as celadon from the Six Dynasties and calligraphy and paintings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, are the most renowned.

Service Hours   Regular opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00. From May 1 to October 31 each year, extended hours are in effect: 9:00–12:00 and 13:00–20:00. The museum is closed every Monday (including statutory holidays).
