Zhenjiang Dam

Zhenjiang Dam is located in Tangba Township, about 7 kilometers from Qianwei County. It is also the essential stop on the way to the Jiayang Miniature Train. Every spring, it attracts numerous visitors who come to experience the world’s only operational steam-powered miniature train. As an added surprise, the dam is surrounded by vast fields of canola flowers. The rolling farmlands are covered with canola blossoms. Compared to the canola fields on the Chengdu Plain, I prefer those in the hilly areas. The terrain here has gentle undulations, and finding a high vantage point allows you to take in the full panoramic view. Take a deep breath, and your lungs will be filled with the essence of spring.
