Huofeng Mountain

Huofeng Mountain is located on the outskirts of Nanbu County, adjacent to the Jialing River. Originally a Buddhist sanctuary, during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, “the monk Huiman of Huofeng Mountain had an ancient demeanor and heart, adhered strictly to monastic rules, was skilled in poetry and refined in manners, often collaborated with literati, and was highly regarded by the county’s scholars.” The Kuixing Tower on Huofeng Mountain is built in imitation of the Kuixing Tower originally constructed in the sixth year of the Song Yuanyou era by Ma Juan from Nanlong Town, Nanbu County.

Huofeng Mountain Park is a provincial-level forest park. It features majestic and magnificent mountain terrain, undulating ridges, twists and turns, a broad interior area, shaded by lush green trees, embraced by eight scenic surroundings, and set within picturesque landscapes.
