With graduation ceremonies behind us, the long-awaited summer vacation is just around the corner. Whether it’s the Miró special exhibition at the National History Museum, the Roman Empire exhibition at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, or the bustling Shilin Night Market and Ximending area in Taipei, there are plenty of great food and fun spots to explore in the city.

As the hot summer arrives in Taipei, besides enjoying various art and cultural exhibitions, you can also visit the city’s well-known attractions and taste its delicious food. The Taipei Dynasty Hotel on Dunhua North Road is targeting travelers coming from central and southern Taiwan, and has launched the “Summer Fun for Everyone” package that includes a free Taipei MRT one-day pass, allowing out-of-town visitors to freely explore the city via the MRT.

The hotel stated that guest rooms also come with Häagen-Dazs ice cream to help guests cool down after a day of outdoor fun. The next day, a late check-out service is also offered, giving guests the chance to leisurely enjoy an arts and culture experience in the nearby commercial area. This convenient, all-inclusive travel package gives visitors more flexible options.

The Taipei Dynasty Hotel’s “Summer Fun for Everyone” package runs from June 15 to August 31. For groups of two or more, the price is NT$1,499 per person, which includes one night in a deluxe room, Häagen-Dazs ice cream, a Taipei MRT one-day pass, late check-out, and complimentary use of the fitness center, sauna, and swimming pool.
