Typhoon Bualoi (international name: BUALOI), the 21st typhoon, was located at 32.4°N, 146.1°E at 8:00 AM on the 25th, moving north-northeast at 32 km/h. Its central pressure was 968 hPa, with maximum sustained winds of 33 m/s near the center and gusts up to 43 m/s. The radius of the 7-level gale was 150 km, and the 10-level gale was 50 km.
On Saturday, the 26th, affected by the northeastern monsoon, temperatures will be slightly cooler in the morning and evening across Taiwan, with large day-night temperature differences in the central and southern regions. There will be localized brief showers along the northern coast of Keelung and the eastern half of the island, as well as scattered brief showers in the mountainous areas of the north. Other regions, including Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with scattered brief showers in the mountainous areas of the south in the afternoon. Stronger gusts are likely in areas north of central Taiwan, the southeastern part (including Green Island and Orchid Island), coastal and open areas of the Hengchun Peninsula, as well as Penghu, Kinmen, so please stay alert.
On Tuesday, the 29th, there will be brief showers in the northeastern region, and scattered brief showers in the northern, eastern, and southeastern areas. Other regions will be mostly cloudy, with scattered brief showers in the mountainous areas of the south in the afternoon.
Temperatures will range between 22–28°C, with the south still relatively warm and maximum temperatures reaching up to 30°C. Starting Wednesday, cloud cover will increase in the north, raising the chance of rain, while the central and southern parts will remain relatively stable.
