Nestled deep within Yangjia Mountain of Shuangfeng Township by the Shengzhong Lake, there lies an ancient compound steeped in history. Cultural heritage information indicates that this is the Yang Family Courtyard, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Today, three intact courtyard units remain, earning it the title of the foremost among Nanchong’s top ten ancient courtyards. As the camera zooms in on this venerable site, the heart is stirred—before you lie ancient courtyards, traditional sky wells, classic entrance gates, old alleyways, weathered stone steps, and age-old cypress groves, all evoking a vivid dreamlike journey back to the Ming and Qing eras.

Shuangfeng Township: Located at the junction of Jian, Lang, and Nan counties, Shuangfeng Township is one of the areas heavily submerged by the Shengzhong Reservoir. The township administers 14 villages, with a total of 3,246 households and a population of 11,465, including 55 non-agricultural households and 201 non-agricultural residents. It is home to 11 government agencies and enterprises employing 126 staff members. Covering a total area of 54.50 square kilometers, it has 8,647 mu of arable land, of which 5,000 mu have been returned to forest, along with 2,743 mu of paddy fields.
