Sumao Dong Site
The Sumao Dong Site is a cultural heritage site protected by Peng’an County.
Sumao Dong Site (Han Dynasty) (county-level)
It is located approximately 600 meters east of Sancunyishe in Jinping Town, Peng’an County (also known as Xiangru Ancient City). Commonly referred to locally as “Jiaochangba,” the site sits on the first-level terrace of the right bank of the Jialing River. To the north lies a small gully, while to the south it borders Yuhuang Temple. The Niu Fanggou Valley runs through the southwestern part of the site, stretching from northwest to southeast.
