Yandian Street is situated within Xiangru Town (formerly Zhoukou Town) in Peng’an County. In the autumn of 1933, the Ninth Army of the Fourth Red Army Corps entered Zhoukou Town. To propagate, organize, and motivate the masses, as well as stir up their wartime fervor, five slogans—including “Arms to Support the Soviet Union” and “Abolish All Exorbitant Taxes and Levies”—were chiseled into the stone lintels of gates and the stone walls of residential buildings on Yandian Street.

Xiangru Subdistrict: In 2019, Xiangru Town was abolished, and Xiangru Subdistrict and Zhoukou Subdistrict were established.
