He once held office in Sichuan and served as Chief Clerk of Pengzhou in 775. It is said that Lu Gong Stone is a relic left by Yan Lugong when he was demoted from Minister of Justice to Chief Clerk of Pengzhou during the second year of the Tang Shangyuan era.
