The Forest of Stone Carvings with Red Army Slogans is a Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a classic red tourism site.

Forest of Stone Carvings with Red Army Slogans, cultural relic. In July 1980, the People's Government of Sichuan Province designated it as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit. It serves as important historical material for studying the history of the Chinese revolution.

From 1973 to 1976, the former Guangyuan County Cultural Relics Management Office gathered over 110 Red Army stone-carved slogans distributed across the county area and displayed them in an exhibition hall built at Huangze Temple. The plaque inscribed with the words “Forest of Stone Carvings with Red Army Slogans,” personally written by Marshal Xu Xiangqian, former Minister of National Defense, hangs in the exhibition hall. These ancient carved exhibits showcase the historical facts and achievements of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in establishing a Soviet regime and carrying out the agrarian revolution struggle in Guangyuan between 1933 and 1935. There are a total of 43 stone tablets and 65 slogans, reflecting the lines, principles, and policies implemented by the Red Army in the Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area. Protected area: to the east up to the western slope of Qiujialiang, to the south up to the northern slope of Erdaoyan, to the west up to the southern slope of Tudi Temple, and to the north up to the southern roadbed of Guangyong Road.
