The Aromatic South Mountain Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Aromatic South Mountain Scenic Area is situated in Lizhou District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, spanning around 8 square kilometers. It is distributed in a strip along the mountaintop tourist road connecting Heping, Yuanshan, and Jianshe villages. The area focuses on wellness tourism and leisure vacations, with its core attractions including a central park, a flower expo garden, an agrotourism sightseeing park, a fig-themed park, a red culture park, and the Yuanshan Temple. It integrates elements of Northern Sichuan vernacular architecture, religious culture, red culture, and agrarian heritage, making it an open scenic destination that combines wellness, vacationing, cultural experiences, interactive activities, and commercial functions.

In November 2019, the Aromatic South Mountain Scenic Area was designated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.
