Shuimogou Qinba Alpine Meadow Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The unique landscape of Shuimogou in northern Sichuan is located within Qinglin Township and Majia Township, about 30 kilometers northeast of Chaotian District, at an altitude of 1,600 meters. It boasts 27,000 acres of pristine forest, scattered with extraordinary natural sights. The Horse Tail Waterfall cascades down from cliffs hundreds of feet high, sending up layers of mist that stir the senses; the Emerald Gorge flows with crystal-clear waters, resembling a block of jade, where one can trek through hanging vines into its deep, steep recesses — the sky above forms a natural dome, creating an air-conditioned paradise of freshness and natural beauty. The Guifei Grassland is dotted with 23 Mongolian yurts, offering spots to either dance or lounge, adding a distinctive charm. The Stone Bamboo Peak rises abruptly from the ground, thousands of feet tall, majestic and imposing. In addition, the scenic area features caves, peak clusters, stone tigers, rare plants, as well as precious wildlife such as golden monkeys, tigers, wild boars, and giant salamanders. A perfect blend of the strange, the steep, the beautiful, and the serene, it is truly a rare gem of a tourist destination.
