The Guangyuan Zengjia Mountain Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Zengjia Mountain Scenic Area is located in Chaotian District, Guangyuan City, at the southern foot of the Qinba Mountains and the junction of Sichuan and Shaanxi. With an average altitude of 1,200 meters, it spans 518 square kilometers, has a forest coverage rate of 74%, and features unique geological landscapes. It is known as the "Kingdom of Karst Caves" and the "Township of Stone Forests and Caves." The annual average temperature is 12°C, the summer average is 23°C, and the winter average is minus 6°C, making it a popular destination for summer retreats and winter snow appreciation.

The scenic area consists of four major zones — forest landscape, agricultural sightseeing, folk customs, and geological exhibition — along with five key attractions: Chuan Cave Hermitage, Stone Bamboo Flat, Hanwang Cave, Diaotan River, and Maliu Gorge. The Forest Landscape Zone spans 497 square kilometers and is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including rare plants such as yew and wildlife such as forest musk deer. The area also features five distinctive landscapes: sea of clouds, stone sea, grass sea, and snow sea. The Agricultural Sightseeing Zone covers 100,000 mu and includes eight themed areas such as new crop varieties displays, fruit and vegetable picking, and farming experience. The Folk Customs Zone is centered around the high-altitude mountain town of Zengjia, serving as the tourism hub of Zengjia Mountain. Cultural elements like "Maliu Embroidery," "Li Family Lion Dance," and "Pingxi Nuo Drama" showcase rich local traditions and folk culture. The Geological Exhibition Zone contains abundant paleontological fossils and classic karst landform features that represent all types found in temperate to subtropical karst regions. The "Giant Stone Sprouts" of Stone Bamboo Flat and the "Jar-shaped Vertical Cave" of Chuan Cave Hermitage are globally rare. The unfathomable depth of Hanwang Cave, the world’s shortest river — Diaotan River — and the stunningly carved Maliu Gorge all form the unique geological wonders of Zengjia Mountain.
