The ruins of Nantai Winery is a cultural heritage site protected at the Bazhong City level.

The ruins of Nantai Winery is a municipal-level cultural heritage site, located in Xiaqiao Street Community Committee, Jiangkou Town. In the ninth year of the Tongzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1870), Wu Depu, then Provincial Administration Commissioner of Yunnan, retired and returned to his hometown. He cut wood and chiseled stone along the riverbank to build a winery himself. Later, during the late Qing Dynasty, the cultural figure Liao Lun, an official from Haizhou, expanded the Nantai workshop on this foundation, introducing water from Nantai Spring to establish the Nantai Winery. Today, only eight fermentation pits remain, which are still in use. The pits are arranged in a north-south orientation, distributed across a terrace that is 70 meters long from east to west and 15 meters wide from north to south. Each pit is rectangular, measuring 3.6 meters in length, 2.3 meters in width, and 1.2 meters in depth. This workshop initiated the development of the brewing industry in Pingchang and gave rise to the enduring and profound culture of Jiangkou Liquor, which now enjoys fame across China. It also promoted the economic development of Pingchang.

Established as Jiangkou Township in 1913, it was renamed Jiangkou Township in 1939, upgraded to a town in 1946, renamed Chengguan Town in 1953, and reverted to Jiangkou Town in 1981.
