As winter sets in, Seoul’s streets are filled with many Christmas decorations, such as the spectacular light show on the facade of Lotte World Mall in Myeongdong. Throughout the capital, numerous billboards and mascots advertising the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics can be seen, blending the festive Christmas cheer with the anticipation of the upcoming Winter Games.The Facebook fan page “Free@KOREA Korea Free Travel,” operated by the Taipei Branch of the Korea Tourism Organization, has accumulated over 140,000 likes and followers since its launch in 2010. Committed to sharing the latest and most accurate Korean travel information, it aims to help more people experience the charm of traveling freely in Korea.

On the occasion of the 100-day countdown to the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, the Taipei Branch of the Korea Tourism Organization launched the “100-Day Countdown to PyeongChang Olympics” campaign and a “Free@KOREA Fan Page 145,000 Fan Power Gathering” event. If the fan page reaches 145,000 likes by 12:00 PM on December 15, grand prizes including a round-trip flight and hotel package for two to Korea will be drawn. If the target is not met by the deadline, no prizes will be awarded. Fans of Korean travel are encouraged to participate and share the event with others who love Korea.
