For example, the exterior of Lotte World Mall in Myeongdong boasts a spectacular light show, and across the capital city, billboards, mascots, and more promoting the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics can be spotted, subtly blending the festive Christmas atmosphere with the excitement of the upcoming Olympic Games.The Facebook fan page “Free@KOREA Korea Free Travel,” operated by the Taipei Branch of the Korea Tourism Organization, has accumulated over 140,000 likes and followers since its launch in 2010. It is committed to sharing the latest and most accurate Korean travel information, allowing more people to experience the charm of traveling freely in Korea.

On the occasion of the 100-day countdown to the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, the Taipei Branch of the Korea Tourism Organization launched the “100-Day Countdown to PyeongChang Winter Olympics” and the “Free@KOREA Fan Page 145,000 Energy Rally.” If the fan page reaches 145,000 likes by 12:00 PM on December 15, a grand prize draw will be held, including a two-person round-trip flight and hotel package to Korea, among other attractive prizes. If the target is not met by the deadline, the prize draw will not take place. Travel enthusiasts who love Korea should take this opportunity to participate and share the event with fellow Korea travel fans.
