The memorial archway of Yu Huanwen’s residence is located at the Yuejia Community Committee in Yuejia Town. It is part of the main hall of the residence of Yu Huanwen, a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations during the Qing Dynasty. Currently, only the archway remains, as the rest of the structure has been destroyed. It faces from the southeast to the northwest and consists of a stepped path, stone walls, courtyard walls, and the archway itself. The stone wall is 2.88 meters high and 1.7 meters wide. The archway stands 5.1 meters tall and 5.4 meters wide, featuring four pillars and three bays, a single-eave roof on one level, and a mixed brick-and-wood structure. The plaque above the archway bears the inscription “极喜余庆” (Extremely Joyful Auspiciousness), while the door bolts are adorned with bracket arm (que ti) decorations. The pillar plaques feature colorful bas-relief patterns, and both the pillars and the plaque have shallow relief carvings. The eaves are decorated with double-layered bracket sets (dougong). On either side of the archway are brick courtyard walls: the left wall is 7 meters long and 2 meters high, while the right wall is 7.4 meters long and 2 meters high. The central bay of the archway has a stepped path of fifteen steps, which is 2.64 meters wide. On the left and right stone walls beneath the archway, there are two niches each containing bas-reliefs of landscapes, flowers and birds, and poetry. This structure boasts exquisite craftsmanship, an elegant design, and significant architectural value.
