The Red Army Stone Slogans at Huayan Nunnery, a county-level cultural relic protection unit, are located on Xingfu Road, the eastern section of Xinhua Street in Jiangkou Town. They are distributed across a stone wall that is 9.65 meters wide, 3.9 meters high, and situated 1.5 meters above the ground. Facing southeast and northwest, in 1933, the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army entered Sichuan, liberated Jiangkou Town, and established the County Soviet Government. The slogans were carved on the stone wall of Yuwang Palace. Due to the location of these carvings near the old street riverside and downstream from a power station that was often flooded, in 1996, the Cultural Relics Management Office relocated the entire slogan complex to Huayan Nunnery (Red Army Museum Plaza) halfway up Fotou Mountain. The main text of the slogan reads “Support the Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic,” with the signature: “Political Department of the Northwest Military Region.” Each character of the main text is 0.8 meters tall and 0.7 meters wide, with strokes 0.1 meters wide and 0.04 meters deep. The spacing between characters is 0.15 meters, and between lines is 0.1 meters. The signature characters are each 0.25 meters wide and 0.28 meters tall. The text is arranged vertically in intaglio regular script. This stone-carved slogan is clear in message and holds significant revolutionary historical commemorative value.
