The Old Stone Quarry Longmen Bridge sits at an elevation of 444.3 meters (measured from two points at the north end of the bridge). It is a key passage connecting the Micang Ancient Road via Taoyuan and Shangliang to Nanjiang and Bazhou. Originally built in the late Qing Dynasty, it underwent multiple renovations during the Republican era up to 1983. A stone-pier wooden-beam covered bridge, with water flow at 300 degrees, it spans a small stream from north to south with a length of 39 meters, width of 5.5 meters, and total height of 10 meters (from roof ridge to water surface). The bridge piers are built with standard stone blocks. Five 17-meter-long huangbai (Phoebe zhennan) logs, each 0.4 meters in width and thickness, are placed side-by-side on the north side of the bridge, and four such logs on the south side, forming the bridge deck. The bridge surface is paved with standard wooden planks, 3.9 meters wide, positioned 4.8 meters above the water.

The bridge features a through-style beam frame and a green-tiled roofed corridor, standing 5.2 meters high, with railings 1.1 meters tall. Ink inscriptions on the wooden beams of the bridge corridor record renovations in the “Second Year of the Republic of China” and the “Thirty-Seventh Year of the Republic of China,” and a commemorative stele at the north side records the renovation in 1983. This indicates the bridge was renovated in the second year of the Republic of China (1913), the thirty-seventh year (1948), and again in 1983. The large wooden structural components are finely crafted, with harmonious proportions, and the bridge remains well-preserved and in use today.
