Nanjiang Large-Leaf Tea is a type of green tea from Sichuan, and it stands out for its particularly fresh, sweet, mellow, and refreshing taste.

Nanjiang Large-Leaf Tea is produced in high-altitude tea regions of Nanjiang County, Sichuan Province, such as Huitan, Liuxi, and Yuandingzi Mountain. The growing areas are surrounded by forests, often shrouded in mist, with abundant rainfall, fertile soil, and no environmental pollution. The tea is rich in selenium and contains over 30 types of essential amino acids and trace elements needed by the human body. In 1965, the China Tea Science Society designated “Nanjiang Large-Leaf Tea” as one of the 21 nationally recognized superior local tea varieties. In 1995, the Sichuan Crop Variety Approval Committee reaffirmed it as a qualified standard tea variety. Products made from “Nanjiang Large-Leaf Tea,” such as “Yunding Minglan” and “Yunding Lüya,” won the silver award at the first China Agricultural Expo in 1992 and were later inducted into the China Tea Museum. In October 1995, at the Agricultural Expo, “Yunding Minglan” and “Yunding Lüya” both received gold awards. In May 2000, they again won silver awards at the International (Chengdu) Tea Expo.
