Erjiao Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Erjiao Temple

The temple is located in Lijiaying Village, adjacent to Fulong Mountain. Outside the temple, there are three parallel stone pillars known as the Dragon Subduing Whips, also called the “Three Incense Sticks.” The rocks beneath Fulong Mountain resemble dragon heads. Legend has it that the Dragon King of the East Sea, Ao Guang, and the Seven-Whisker Dragon King caused havoc and violated the heavenly laws, so the Jade Emperor used the Dragon Subduing Whips to suppress them here, hence the name Erjiao Temple. Later, a plaque was hung at the temple, naming it “Fuxing Temple,” symbolizing revival and prosperity.
