The Huanghuabian Battle Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

Huanghuabian Battle Site: During the anti–"Three Route Encirclement" and anti–"Six Route Encirclement" campaigns fought by the Red Army from February 1933 to September 1934, Nanjiang served as the main battlefield on the western front. The Red Army and the Kuomintang engaged in thousands of battles of various scales in the area. On February 18, 1933, the enemy launched the "Three Route Encirclement", and on February 28, 1933, the Red Army abandoned Changchi, consolidated their defensive positions, and adopted the strategic principles of “consolidation,” “concealed defense,” and “waiting for the right opportunity to annihilate the enemy.” They gradually retreated while fighting, luring the enemy deeper through to the Baimiaoya sector. At the Huanghuapian section of Baimiaoya, a battle was fought in which over 200 officers and soldiers of He Zicong’s regiment were killed (He himself was also shot dead). Later, the Red Army also dealt heavy blows at places such as Zengziya and Hongpailiang. Today, remnants of fortifications and traces of the battle can still be seen in the Huanghuapian area.
