Zhushui Wind and Rain Covered Bridge

Known as the "No. 1 Wind and Rain Covered Bridge in Asia," the Zhushui Wind and Rain Covered Bridge in Qianjiang District, Chongqing, is located in Zhushui Town, Qianjiang District, Chongqing.

The wind and rain covered bridge spans the Apeng River, stretching 303 meters in length and 5 meters in width. It is divided into three sections: the bridge, towers, and pavilions. The bridge body is made entirely of wood, with construction materials interconnected via mortise and tenon joints, interlocking vertically and diagonally to create a solid and precise structure. The bridge features multi-tiered towers and pavilions, and inside the bridge, there are long red-painted benches.
