Qianjiang Guancun Scenic Area

Qianjiang Guancun Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Guancun Scenic Area is located in Zhaizi Community, Fengjia Subdistrict, about a 20-minute drive from the new urban area of Qianjiang. It is a comprehensive flower-themed tourist destination that combines leisure sightseeing with the trade of flowers and seedlings.

The ancient Guancun Village is situated by the Apeng River. In the past, all the houses here were traditional Tujia stilted buildings, and there was no bridge across the river—villagers had to rely on boats to cross. Today, this 600-year-old Tujia courtyard has been revitalized through recent poverty alleviation efforts: the buildings have been renovated, bridges have been built, and the ancient village has taken on a brand-new look.

Guancun features a seasonal flower garden covering a total area of 280 acres. Here you can enjoy flower seas, floral promenades, fruit orchards, and twelve-month floral belts, offering blossoms to admire all year round. There are also over 20 popular photo spots, including leisure walkways, pavilions, viewing platforms, and an ancient stone bridge from the Qing Dynasty.
