Sanya's Cape Jinmu is China's southernmost military territorial sea base, an undeveloped virgin land that has recently gained popularity among water sports enthusiasts and become a popular wedding photography location. In recent years, one-day tour programs themed around Cape Jinmu have emerged in Sanya, and visitors have started to appear at the cape. Surrounded by the sea on three sides and backed by mountains on one, it is the true meaning of the “ends of the earth.” It lies at the southernmost point of the continental shelf on China’s map, and apart from the lone lighthouse amidst the endless sea and sky, it remains rarely visited.

The iconic landmark here, the Cape Jinmu Lighthouse, offers views of the boundless sea and sky with vast, misty waters—there are many beautiful sights that remain undiscovered. Currently, most visitors to Cape Jinmu arrive by private car or join a local travel agency's one-day tour program. Activities include 360-degree sea fishing on offshore fish farms, barbecues, and scuba diving.

Transportation: From Sanya City, take a minibus from the main bus station to Anyou, then rent a “fengcai” (tricycle taxi) to the military gate 0. Start hiking up the mountain from the military gate 0 to reach Cape Jinmu.
