Yuqiyuan Building

Yuqiyuan Building is located within Nanshan Temple in Hainan Province and offers around ten to twenty varieties of “Buddhist vegetarian buffet” dishes. In Buddhism, the arising and ceasing of all things are determined by karma — when causes arise, things come into being, and when causes cease, things vanish. Some interpret “yuan” (缘) as “conditions.” Because of an East-meets-West historical connection, we established the Nanshan Cultural Zone; due to the need for management, we built this comprehensive office building. It is because of the Nanshan Cultural Park that you have come to Nanshan. All of this has happened due to karmic conditions. The people of Nanshan cherish this connection, so they named this building “Yuqiyuan,” meaning “Origin of Connections,” hoping that this bond will continue and extend further.
