Yalong Bay International Rose Valley is situated in the Yalong Bay National Tourism Resort in Sanya, Hainan Province, spanning 2,755 acres. Themed around beauty, romance, and love, the scenic area is built upon the natural beauty of farmland, reservoirs, and forests, and uses a colorful array of roses as its core. It is Asia's largest rose valley, combining rose cultivation, rose culture exhibitions, and tourism and leisure vacationing.

The developer of Yalong Bay International Rose Valley is Lande Corporation, headquartered in Shanghai. Its subsidiaries include Shanghai Lande Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Lande Information Industry Co., Ltd., Shanghai Lande Flower Co., Ltd., Sanya Lande Seed Industry Co., Ltd., Sanya Shenglande Flower Culture Industry Co., Ltd., Sanya Lande International Rose Valley Development Co., Ltd., and Hainan Lande Real Estate Co., Ltd. Since 1997, Lande Corporation has been engaged in the cultivation and sale of fresh-cut roses in Shanghai, establishing an extensive sales network in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region. In 2006, it began trial planting of tropical roses in Sanya, Hainan. In July 2008, it successfully cultivated the first batch of fresh-cut roses on Hainan Island, marking the end of the island’s history without locally grown fresh-cut roses.
