Yulin Port
It is home to the famous "Yulin Fortress." The bay stretches from Lu Hui Tou Cape in the west to Jin Mu Cape in the east, making it the finest seaport at China’s southernmost point and a crucial base for supporting the South China Sea islands.
The world-renowned Yulin Port boasts deep, calm waters and is embraced by surrounding mountains, forming a natural harbor and a strategic national defense location. Looking out in all directions, to the east of Yulin Port, the coastline is rugged with numerous bays, including Tiger Head Ridge, Qiongnan Ridge, Chi Ridge, and Nanwan Ridge, which jut out into the sea and embrace Yalong Bay, Tuqu Bay, and Lingshui Bay—positions that allow control over a wider area. To the west of Yulin Port, the coastline is flatter, with landmarks such as Lu Hui Tou, Ma Ling, and Nanshan Ridge rising from the sea, together with East and West Muzhou Islands, forming a maritime barrier.
