Sanya Sun Bay
Sun Bay is located in the southwest of Yalong Bay National Tourism Resort in Sanya City, at the southernmost tip of Hainan Island, about 19 kilometers from downtown Sanya. It borders Baifu Bay to the west and leans against Yalong Bay to the east, serving as a long-hidden secluded coastline atop Yalong Bay’s 18.6 square kilometers of paradise-like bay and 8 kilometers of crystal-clear shoreline. Sun Bay is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea on one side, offering stunningly picturesque scenery. The bay is named after the unique rock known as “Sun Rock” on Bai Shi Ling within the bay. The upscale resort area developed by Sanya Sun Bay Development Co., Ltd. has been designated by the Nature Conservancy as one of the top diving spots in China—apart from the Xisha and Nansha Islands. It is also currently the only top-tier coastal resort in Sanya.
