Temple of the Sacred Traces of the Buddha in Tianzhu. This site is themed around the life story of Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism, incorporating the folk culture and architectural heritage of the birthplace of Buddhism to deeply interpret and showcase the origins of Buddhist culture. It is divided into two parts: a complex of buildings in Nepalese style and a dome-shaped stupa (wish-fulfilling stupa); the Buddha Temple was formerly the Nepal Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. After being relocated to Sanya, it underwent a redesign and the overall scale was expanded to twice that of the original pavilion.
