Hongtang Bay is the core area of the western tourism cluster in the Greater Sanya Bay area, characterized mainly by personalization, theming, and cultural richness. Relying on the culture of Tianya, it develops themed communities, and builds upon elements such as an international yacht harbor and coastal golf courses to actively expand offshore vacation and leisure functions. It is a comprehensive high-end tourist resort area targeting both domestic and international premium markets. The area combines the charm of a small town with coastal scenery, featuring relatively complex and well-developed functions along with complete living facilities. The Hongtang Bay Tourism Resort has a total planned land area of approximately 2.14 square kilometers (about 3,220 acres), with a site length of 5 kilometers and a width varying between 400 to 600 meters. The coastline stretches about 3.3 kilometers.
