The Dadonghai Coral Reserve spans a vast area, with corals found at depths ranging from approximately 2 to 3 meters up to 50 meters. Underwater, there are extensive coral reefs bursting with vibrant colors and dazzling hues. The diversity and coverage of coral species rank first in Hainan Province. The coral reef area provides an ideal habitat for the growth, development, and reproduction of many rare and high-quality fish species. In the Lu Hui Tou area alone, over 300 types of shellfish and 300 types of marine fossils have been discovered, ranking the highest in variety nationwide. This area serves not only as an important ecological barrier for tropical marine environments but also as an excellent destination for diving tourism. The colorful coral reefs shimmer brilliantly under the clear seawater, while a variety of fish and other marine life swim among them, adding a lively touch to the splendid coral formations.
