Antarctic Square showcases the Taoist philosophy of self-cultivation and wellness methods. The couplet on the main gate uses concise and vivid phrases such as "Four Observances" and "Four Essentials" to summarize the fundamental elements of Taoist self-discipline and health preservation. The alchemy furnace in front of the gate, composed of a stove and a cauldron, is engraved with various auspicious patterns. It is a primary vessel used in Taoist external alchemy (Earthly Elemental Elixir), commonly known as the elixir of immortality.
