Dalong Reservoir
The Dalong Water Control Project is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Ningyuan River in the western part of Sanya City, Hainan Province. It is a key project for water resource allocation in southern Hainan. Listed as a major construction project under China’s Tenth Five-Year Plan, the project primarily focuses on flood control, water supply, and irrigation, with hydropower generation as a secondary function. The total reservoir capacity is 468 million cubic meters. It is a key national large (Type II) water conservancy project.
