The Little Heavenly Cave Stone Carvings are located within the Dadong and Xiaodong Caves Scenic Area in Sanya City, dating from the Song Dynasty to the modern era. They are a cultural relic protection unit of Hainan Province.

Protected area: to the east along the stone steps path of Little Heavenly Cave, to the south extending 60 meters southward from the Little Heavenly Cave Stone Carvings, to the west extending 100 meters westward from the Little Heavenly Cave Stone Carvings, and to the north extending 60 meters northward from the Little Heavenly Cave Stone Carvings. This defines the boundary line of the Little Heavenly Cave Stone Carvings protected area. The total area is 1.91 hectares (equivalent to 28.65 mu).
