Haikou Mass Art Center

The Haikou Mass Art Center evolved from a cultural center. Its predecessor, the Haikou People's Cultural Center, was established in April 1951. In March 1987, it was officially renamed the Haikou Mass Art Center.

The Haikou Mass Art Center has a 17-story art center building with a total area of 14,698 square meters, housing training halls for multiple disciplines such as music, dance, fine arts, and drama, as well as a large exhibition hall, concert hall, public dance floor, fitness club, and table tennis club.

The art center regularly invites experts in group culture theory and various artistic fields to give lectures and run workshops. It also creates opportunities for young people to participate in professional training. In recent years, the center has been involved in organizing over 15 large-scale cultural events across the city each year. Through frequent activities, the successful approach of "government leadership, social collaboration, public participation, and shared benefits" has made Haikou’s group cultural activities vibrant and flourishing.
