Precious Plants Science and Technology Park
On January 14, 2014, the Hainan Precious Plants Science and Technology Park officially opened. The park was established under the guidance of the Hainan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, relying on the Hainan Agricultural Science and Technology 110 platform, integrating resources from the provincial Science and Technology 110 system, and developed by Hainan Xinhe Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. The park is located in Meilan District, Haikou City, covering an area of 110 acres. It showcases new agricultural science and technology products and techniques, and features over 400 varieties of rare tree species including Hainan rosewood, agarwood, rosewood, and antiaris toxicaria, as well as more than 30 types of rare flowers such as tropical orchids.
