The Yao Mountain Grand Canyon Mineral Spring Rafting is situated in Dakeng Village, Nayai Village, and Xikeng Village, Dongzhong Town, Fangcheng District, Fangchenggang City — the heartland of the Daban Yao people on the China-Vietnam border. With a population of just over 2,000, the Daban Yao are one of the smallest branches of the Yao minority. They continue to preserve their ancient ways of life, including traditional hunting, fishing, and farming cultures, as well as exquisite craftsmanship in Yao clothing and brocade weaving. Rare legends, melodious Yao songs, graceful dances, unique marriage customs, and religious beliefs create an authentic and hard-to-find minority cultural experience.

The area features dense forests, lush vegetation, and abundant rainfall. Its main peak rises over 2,000 meters above sea level, offering rich natural resources including plants, animals, and minerals, along with breathtaking high-mountain scenery that captivates visitors. Upstream from these serene yet mysterious Yao villages lies the pristine forests of Vietnam. In these Vietnamese woodlands, crystal-clear springs abound, which converge at Dakeng Village in China to form a river. The water here is as pure as mineral water, nurturing thousands of years of cultural development along the southern border. The starting point of the rafting route is located right within Dakeng Village, hence our well-deserved reputation as the “Mineral Spring Water Rafting.”

Building upon the natural beauty and significant elevation drops of the river, skilled technicians have crafted a route that retains its wild charm while ensuring safety and excitement. The completed rafting course spans a total length of 5 kilometers, featuring 68 slides, over 30 pools, and more than 80 turns. Among these, there are six slides exceeding 50 meters in length and two stretching 100 meters. The total elevation drop reaches 238 meters, including five individual drops over 3 meters and more than 50 drops exceeding 1.5 meters. With continuous slides and thrilling descents throughout, this is acclaimed as “the most exciting and fun rafting experience in Guangxi,” making it a perfect destination for relaxation and vacation.
