Jinmanyuan, officially known as Guangxi Nanning Jinmanyuan Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd., is a modern eco-agricultural sightseeing park that integrates folk culture, recreational leisure, and fruit production. Located in Tanluo Town, Xixiangtang District, Nanning City, it was jointly constructed by the Guangxi Regional Fruit Production Technology Guidance Station and the Sugar Crops Division of the Autonomous Region Department of Agriculture. The park undertakes the Ministry of Agriculture’s South Subtropical Characteristic Fruit Breeding Farm Project in Guangxi, the South Asia Office of the Ministry of Agriculture’s Guangxi Fruit Tree Breeding Center Project, and the Ministry of Agriculture’s Sugar Crops Production Base Project. Established in 2002, the orchard covers an area of 432 mu, with complete infrastructure for water, electricity, and roads. Facilities include office and training (conference) buildings, a luxury hotel, restaurants, a sports hall, swimming pool, fishing pond, barbecue area, folk culture corridor, bamboo houses, Wa ethnic village, and traditional Zhuang-style courtyard homes. The park houses eight high-quality ecological orchards, one variety garden, as well as multiple fruit tree parent gardens, scion gardens, and nurseries. The entire area is thoughtfully planned, offering a serene, elegant, and comfortable environment with fragrant flowers and fruits throughout the year. With mild winters and cool summers, it is a much-coveted paradise for both locals and tourists.

In terms of fruit production and sugarcane breeding, the park has introduced and cultivated 22 premium fruit varieties, including lychee, longan, mango, African pride atemoya, Taiwanese pearl guava, Malaysian sweet carambola, Vietnamese dragon fruit, macadamia nuts, Hass avocados, East Superior bayberry (large fruit), seedless wampee, Taiwanese muscat grapes, jackfruit, papaya, and loquat. These come from 78 cultivars and over ten newly developed domestic sugarcane varieties, such as Guisugar, Taiguo sugar, Yue sugar, Min sugar, and Gan sugar. The orchard utilizes advanced modern agricultural facilities, including greenhouses, insect-proof net houses, and two sets of sprinkler irrigation systems (enabling automated water and fertilizer application across the entire park). The park also actively adopts and adapts advanced techniques from around the world—for example, using insect-proof nets for bayberry, hanging yellow sticky boards and insect traps to control pests, placing earthworms under fruit trees, bagging fruits, and applying biogas slurry. This has led to the establishment of an integrated agro-ecological model combining pig farming, biogas production, fruit cultivation, pest control lighting, and fish farming. Due to meticulous management practices, minimal use of herbicides and pesticides, reduced chemical fertilizers (with organic fertilizers, chicken manure, and pig manure as the main inputs), the fruits produced are exceptionally fragrant, crisp, and sweet—with pure, rich flavors. They are ecological, healthy, and safe, attracting large numbers of visitors for fruit picking and making them a top choice for corporate holiday gift baskets.

In recent years, eco-tourism has emerged as a new highlight in the tourism industry and has become highly popular among travelers. As a comprehensive, modern eco-agricultural sightseeing demonstration park integrating six major functions—variety display, elite seed reproduction, new variety and technology trials and demonstrations, technical training, fruit processing, and leisure sightseeing—Jinmanyuan has attracted numerous domestic and international experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs (including experts from Israel, ASEAN countries, and the Minister of Agriculture) for visits and seminars, all of whom have spoken highly of the park. Currently, the number of visitors coming to tour and vacation here is steadily increasing, indicating a very promising future for development.

Tanluo Town: Located in the northwest of Nanning City, Tanluo Town in Xixiangtang District is approximately 42 kilometers from the city center. It borders Jinling Town, Jiangxi Town in Jiangnan District, Long’an County, and Fusui County. Major transportation routes such as the Nanning-Kunming Railway, National Highway 324, Nanning-Baise Second-Class Highway, and Nanning-Tanluo Expressway run through the town. The Nanning-Wuming-Kang Railway Station is also located here. The area is flanked by the Zuojiang and Youjiang rivers, offering extremely convenient water and land transport and significant locational advantages.
