The Penghu National Scenic Area Administration and the Penghu County Government, among other organizations, will hold the “Most Beautiful Spring Outing—Golden Coastline Bicycle Exploration Tour” on April 14. The event will be conducted in groups. To help cyclists gain a deeper understanding of Penghu, professional lead riders will be arranged within the cycling groups to guide participants along the coastal and pastoral landscapes of Huxi Township, allowing them to enjoy the sensation of the sea breeze brushing their cheeks or listen to the calls of the Eurasian skylark echoing across the sky. The event has a limit of 200 participants, and registration is now open.

The itinerary for this event is planned from the Penghu Visitor Center → Aimen Beach and Lintou Park (stamp collection + refreshments) → Longmen Lizhengjiao → Longmen Coastal Park (stamp collection + refreshments) → Ye Ye Sun Viewing Tower → Beiliao Wind Farm → Kuibi Mountain Geopark (stamp collection + refreshments) → Chenggong Reservoir → Dongwei Forest Area → Penghu Visitor Center, covering a total distance of approximately 32 kilometers, with an estimated activity duration of 2–3 hours.
The Penghu National Scenic Area Administration stated that the aim of the event is to allow participants to deeply experience Penghu’s green tourism environment through slow cycling and leisurely exploration. Riders are reminded not to race during the event and to assess their own physical conditions, with safety as the top priority. All participants will be covered by a NT$1 million accident insurance policy for the duration of the event.
