It's time for a Penghu cycling tour to explore the beauty of Huxi Township

The Penghu National Scenic Area Administration, Penghu County Government, and other organizations will host the “Most Beautiful Spring Outing—Golden Coastline Cycling Exploration Tour” on April 14. The event will be conducted in groups, and to help cyclists gain a deeper understanding of Penghu, professional lead riders will be arranged within the group to guide participants along the coastal and pastoral scenery of Huxi Township. Riders can also enjoy the sensation of the sea breeze brushing their cheeks or listen to the calls of the Eurasian skylark echoing across the sky. The event has a limit of 200 participants, and registration is now open.

The itinerary for this event is planned as follows: Penghu Visitor Center → Aimen Beach & Lintou Park (stamp collection + refreshments) → Longmen Lizhengjiao → Longmen Coastal Park (stamp collection + refreshments) → Yeyechao Observation Tower → Beiliao Wind Farm → Kuibishan Geological Park (stamp collection + refreshments) → Chenggong Reservoir → Dongwei Forest Area → Penghu Visitor Center. The total distance is approximately 32 kilometers, and the activity duration is about 2–3 hours.

 

The Penghu National Scenic Area Administration stated that the goal of the event is to allow participants to deeply experience Penghu’s green tourism environment through slow cycling and leisurely exploration. Riders are advised not to race during the activity and to assess their own physical conditions, with safety as the top priority. All participants will be insured for NT$1 million in accident insurance throughout the event. Those who collect all three stamps after the activity will receive a commemorative T-shirt as a souvenir.
