Heavy sailboats, special Dongsha exhibition, and water-land activities at Xingda Port now underway

Known for its marine leisure and recreational activities, Xingda Fishing Port offers events year-round. From now until April 7 during holiday periods, the Kaohsiung City Government Marine Bureau will once again launch pedal boats, heavy sailboats, "Walker Bay" small sailboats, jet ski experiences, and water skiing performances, among other water and land recreational activities, allowing the public to fully enjoy aquatic fun under the warm ocean breezes of the harbor city.

In addition to the rarely available heavy sailboat experience, the event will also feature jet ski rides known for their mobility, thrill, and dynamic maneuvers, offering unforgettable experiences. New additions include the nationwide hit and most popular pedal boats and the adorable "Walker Bay" small sailboats, providing families and couples with plenty of splashing fun on the water. On the second floor of the Maritime Theater, the long-planned "Marine Environment Education Promotion Classroom" will also simultaneously debut a special Dongsha exhibition, marine biology A-B-C exhibition, ship model display, and marine-themed photography exhibit. The various water activities will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with jet skis, heavy sailboats, Walker Bay small sailboats, and pedal boats all available as paid experiences.

 

The Marine Bureau stated that after a fun-filled day of excitement, visitors can unwind by enjoying the cool and dazzling car audio light shows and the beautiful night scenery at Lover’s Wharf, or soothe their minds by listening to the relaxing musical performances at the “Amphitrite Sailboat Theme Restaurant.” These are all great ways to relax the soul.
