The Nalong Dinosaur excavation site is located at Shihuo Ridge, Dashicun Village, Jinling Town, Xixiangtang District. It dates back to the Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic Era and is categorized as "other."

In 1996, the Nalong Dinosaur excavation site was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Nanning City.

Jinling Town: Jinling Town is an administrative town under the jurisdiction of Xixiangtang District, Nanning City. Established in September 1987, it is situated in the western part of Nanning City, along the Youjiang River, approximately 18 kilometers from downtown Nanning. It is traversed by the Nanning–Baise Second-Class Highway, the Nanning–Kunming Railway, and the Nanning–Tianyang Expressway, making it a "satellite city" of Nanning. Currently, Jinling Town administers 13 administrative villages — Jinling, Luping, Nan’an, Sanlian, Southeast, Longda, Shuangyi, Guangdao, Gande, Leyong, Julian, Yiren, and Dengwei — and one community, Jincheng, with a total population of 62,000.
