Eshan, located beside the Nanning–Baise Expressway in Minyang Village, Long’an County, is an ecological tourism area. Its main peak stands at an elevation of 572 meters, and at the summit lies Tianchi Hot Spring. There are four caves on the east, west, south, and north sides of the mountain, the largest and longest of which extends 15 kilometers and can accommodate tens of thousands of visitors. Inside the caves, streams trickle, and the stalactites and stalagmites take on bizarre and varied forms. Outside the caves, lush forests thrive, with ancient trees towering overhead and vines entwining, as well as a network of stone forest gullies sprawling across an area of 4–5 square kilometers. At the foot of Eshan lies the Minyang River, with a scenic river section stretching 2 kilometers in length. The waters are clear and suitable for boating. Historical records indicate that Eshan was once a revolutionary base for the Red Seventh Army, and a local folk song says: “Enter the spring to know the nature of fish, walk the mountain to hear the birds sing.” With an average annual temperature of 21°C, Eshan is an ideal destination for tourism and summer retreat.
