Nanning Min’ge Lake Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Nanning Min’ge Lake Scenic Area is a water-based sightseeing attraction. Construction began on November 28, 2009, initiated by Nanning Jianning Water Investment Group Co., Ltd., with a total investment of approximately 1.5 billion yuan. The scenic area is part of Nanning’s urban ring water system and features one of the most beautiful ring-shaped water landscapes in the city center. The water area runs through Nanning’s Langdong CBD, stretching about 6.8 kilometers in total. The scenic offerings include boat cruises, walking tours, a modern art bar street, square activities, and cultural performances. Supporting facilities include a visitor center, large above- and below-ground parking lots, specialty dining chains, and bar chains. It is one of Nanning’s most charming new tourist destinations. Currently, the Nanning Min’ge Lake Scenic Area is managed by Nanning Shuicheng Tourism Development Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nanning Jianning Water Investment Group Co., Ltd. The company’s business scope includes tourism services, land and water passenger transport, boat operations, hotels, catering, entertainment, advertising, property management, and more.

Boat Cruises

The scenic area’s boat cruise project currently offers six routes: the Min’ge Lake–South Lake Premium Cruise, South Lake–Min’ge Lake Premium Cruise, Min’ge Lake–Xianbin Lake–Min’ge Lake Experience Cruise, South Lake–Connected Open Channel–South Lake Experience Cruise, as well as self-drive options using electric and pedal boats around South Lake and Min’ge Lake. These six boat routes showcase the highlights of Nanning’s “Green Water Twin Cities,” offering visitors a colorful and dreamlike journey through the water city.

Wedding Cruises

The scenic area’s newly launched luxury cruise boats are suitable not only for high-end business cruises but also for hosting wedding events, bringing a fresh and unique format to Nanning’s wedding market.

Performances

The scenic area features several artistically styled squares that host various square activities at unscheduled times, which visitors can join for free. There are also two performance stages—one open-air and one indoor—offering themed shows during holidays. The open-air stage is free to the public, while admission to the indoor stage requires a ticket.

Bar Street

The bar street consists of 19 main buildings across 8 zones. The main landscape takes advantage of views of the inner and outer lakes and the observation hill, integrating the scenery of architecture, transparency, and landscape into one. It gathers renowned domestic and international bars and leisure/entertainment brands, fully meeting the area’s commercial, tourism, and leisure entertainment needs, and establishing Nanning’s first bar culture district.
