Gusi Langling King Temple The Gusi Langling King Temple is located in Gusi Village, Nahong Subdistrict, approximately 10 kilometers from Chakou Intersection (along the old Nanning–Wuzhou Highway), and was built after the Southern Song Dynasty. It was destroyed by Japanese forces in November 1939. The current temple was rebuilt on the original site in 1985, featuring one Langling King Hall and two altars.

In September 1994, one more Spirit Gate, a pair of Spirit Lions, and 16 corridor pavilions were added. Upon entering the temple gate, there is a couplet that reads: “Towering trees stand in serene forests, leaving behind ancient relics; the king’s grace flows like an ocean, nourishing the world.” This is highly eye-catching. The stele in the Langling King Hall is inscribed with “The Temple of Righteous and Loyal Guan Yu, the Ancestral Throne of the Langling Chief King, the Throne of Yue Fei Who Loyally Served the Nation.” The temple enshrines three historical figures: Nong Zhigao, Guan Yu, and Yue Fei. Since ancient times, worshippers have come here in an endless stream. Every year on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, the birthday of the King Temple, the number of visitors can sometimes reach up to 30,000.
