Upon its release in 2012, "Gangnam Style" quickly racked up astronomical views on YouTube, amassing over 2.45 billion hits to date—the most-watched video in YouTube history—and putting Seoul’s Gangnam District on the map. To honor Psy’s achievement, the Korean government commissioned an approximately 8-meter-tall, multi-million-won metal sculpture at the COEX Mall plaza, the song’s filming location. The fun part?
