Yangmei Village: Yangmei was first established during the Song Dynasty and has a history of over a thousand years. It was originally built by four surnames—Luo, Liu, Lu, and Li—and was named “Baihua Village” (White Flower Village) due to the dense thorny bushes and abundant white flowers in the area. Later, when Di Qing pacified the region, people from various places continuously migrated here, leading to gradual development and formation of the village. Surrounded by clear streams and flowing waters, it was later renamed “Yangxi Village” (Flowing Stream Village). As time passed and society evolved, with people becoming more enlightened and aspiring toward beauty, it was renamed once again to “Yangmei Village” (Praising Beauty Village). The villagers of Yangmei are known for their kindness, reverence for literature and martial arts, and emphasis on virtue and beauty. By the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the village had already seen rapid development in culture and economy, flourishing with vitality and prosperity.
